EXPERIENCE MEDOMAK

weddings

Friday, late afternoon, your closest friends and family begin to arrive. You see them to their quaint and comfortable weekend accommodations. Soon, everyone gathers for a welcome toast on our sprawling Dining Hall porch. A delicious chef-prepared dinner follows along with an evening of star gazing and roasting s’mores.

Upon waking on Saturday morning, all attendees reconvene for a hearty breakfast and fresh coffee. As your guests fill their day with a swim in the lake or a visit to a local brewery, you can get ready for your big day in peace within the historied walls of our Lodge or any one of our charming cabins.

The late afternoon sun dances on the maple and oak leaf canopy that shelter our historic outdoor amphitheater, lovingly named, The Chapel. The culmination of months of planning come to a crescendo as wedding vows are exchanged and sealed with a kiss! Onward to your tailor-made celebration!

Our brand-new post and beam Barn is the perfect place to dine and dance. As the sun sets and the stars begin to shine, your guests will feel welcome to spend the whole night on the dance floor, slowly migrate to the campfire or to head back to the comfort of their own cabin.

On your last morning at Medomak, Sunday brunch is in order. The delicious spread is the final exclamation point to a weekend of great food and heartfelt accommodation. Making the choice to host your wedding at Medomak means giving your guests a weekend to remember and giving yourself the gift of working with a dedicated staff who will help execute your wedding vision.

CEREMONY

Medomak offers several options for where to hold your wedding ceremony.

Our historic lodge is like taking a step back in time. The first structure built at Medomak, it maintains its original birch wood floors, a stone fireplace and raised stage. The lodge will accommodate up to 100 people for your ceremony.

Our newly built post & beam Barn can be used to host both the ceremony and the reception. With cathedral ceilings and a totally open floor plan, the space can be used in a variety of configurations. The Barn can accommodate 150 persons.

The Chapel is an outdoor amphitheater located just up the hill from the lodge at the end of a short path into the forest. Tiered seating accommodates 60+ people and a speaker can be clearly seen and heard from the stone podium at the lower end.

There are endless possibilities for outdoor ceremonies at Medomak, and we are happy to work with your unique ideas! Please contact us to talk about other options.
